  • The staff at Little Footsteps in Mattishall are amazing. From day one my child felt comfortable and at ease. Having the app so can see what they do during the day is terrific and being able to upload what we do at home is really good as it helps with their EYFS development. With the app you can message the staff if you need to during the day and even during the weekend a member of staff is always on hand to reply to you. The staff cater for my child’s dietary needs and any incidents or accidents they inform you accordingly. The ladies at Mattishall they actually care about your child. It’s not just a job to them they actually show empathy and understanding which is a very rare thing. The lady who runs Mattishall is Zoe and even though she isn’t based at Mattishall full time she is always available and Zoe is a terrific leader / boss. You can talk to her and she actually listens, she doesn’t just stand there nodding her head and ignoring what you say she actually listens just like the other ladies do. My child comes home with happy smiles usually covered head to foot in goodness knows what but the smile on their face is worth it as a messy child is a happy child. The drawings and things they make are always of abundance and the smiles and look what I made is so worth it. You will be hard pressed to find a nursery that helps your child for their next step to big school as much as Little Footsteps in Mattishall do. They work along the curriculum of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Scheme) and they keep you updated with your child’s progress. If you enroll your child at Little Footsteps at Mattishall you will have a happy and well looked after child. - (Parent at Mattishall April 2021)

  • As an ex-nursery manager I know exactly what to look out for in a good nursery. The pastoral care at little Footsteps is next to none. We collaborated on a number of strategies to settle my daughter (16 months old) in. Both my daughter and my needs were deligently respected and cared for. My daughter is settling in wonderfully and the details on her observations and next steps in development are of a high standard. Staff are all friendly and very professional.
